Knee Injury Performance Training
YOUR KNEE IS CLEARED.IS YOUR ATHLETEREADY?
There is a difference between being medically cleared and being prepared to compete.
Antonio Davis Knee Injury Performance Training helps athletes bridge the gap between rehabilitation and competition — rebuilding strength, movement, confidence and performance after ACL and other knee injuries.
The Gap
PHYSICAL THERAPY GOT YOU HERE.
NOW WE BUILD THE ATHLETE.
Surgeons and physical therapists play an essential role in healing and rehabilitation. Antonio's role begins where traditional rehabilitation often starts to end.
Returning to soccer, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse or another competitive sport requires much more than being able to squat, jog or pass basic strength testing. The athlete must be able to accelerate, stop, cut, react, land, absorb force, produce force — and perform those movements confidently under increasingly demanding conditions.
Cleared to play and prepared to play are not the same thing.
ACL Specialization
ACL RECOVERY IS ONE OF MY SPECIALTIES.
Antonio has extensive experience helping athletes return from ACL reconstruction and serious knee injuries. Training progresses deliberately — from rebuilding foundational strength and movement quality to increasingly demanding athletic movements and ultimately sport-specific performance.
Every athlete is evaluated individually. This is not a standard ACL protocol or cookie-cutter rehabilitation program. Antonio analyzes how the athlete moves, identifies weaknesses and compensations, and builds training around what that individual athlete needs.
A confident statement representing what successful return-to-performance can look like — not a promise or medical guarantee.
The Process
WE DON'T GUESS.
WE ASSESS.
01
Assess
Evaluate movement, strength, stability, asymmetries, mobility, confidence and athletic demands.
02
Rebuild
Restore strength, control, movement quality and trust in the injured leg.
03
Load
Progressively introduce greater speed, force, resistance and athletic demand.
04
Move
Train acceleration, deceleration, jumping, landing, cutting and change of direction.
05
Perform
Prepare the athlete for the specific physical demands of practices, games and competition.
06
Return
The goal is not simply returning to the field. The goal is returning prepared.
Athletic Confidence
THE KNEE CAN BE READY BEFORE THE ATHLETE BELIEVES IT IS.
Athletes frequently hesitate, protect the injured leg or unconsciously change movement patterns after injury. This is one of the most overlooked challenges in return-to-sport preparation.
Antonio's training progressively exposes athletes to increasingly challenging movements so they can rebuild trust in their bodies — developing movement confidence and eliminating hesitation through deliberate, structured progression.
