About the Founder

MeetAntonio Davis

Trainer. Coach. Teacher. Founder.

Antonio Davis built Antonio Davis Trainer around a simple belief: Training should never be random. Every athlete. Every adult. Every body. Every goal. There should be a reason behind what you are doing.

The Work

More Than a Trainer

The word trainer may be the easiest title for people to recognize. But Antonio's work extends well beyond leading workouts.

His approach combines movement analysis, strength and conditioning, athletic development, performance training, injury-conscious programming, education, mental toughness, nutrition awareness, and individualized attention to detail — all built around long-term development.

The workout is only one part of the coaching process. Antonio's role is to observe, understand, teach, challenge, and help clients improve.

Movement Analysis

Understanding how you move before deciding how to train you.

Strength & Conditioning

Building a physical foundation that supports every goal.

Athletic Development

Developing athletes for the long term, not just the next game.

Education

Teaching clients to understand why — not just what.

Individualized Programming

No two people are the same. No two programs should be either.

Long-Term Development

Building habits and confidence that last beyond the training session.

What does this person actually need?

The Origin

Why I Do This

I have always been fascinated by how people move — why some athletes improve and others plateau, why small details create large differences, and how the right coaching can change someone's confidence as much as their performance.

Early in my career, I realized the question I was asking was wrong. I was asking: how hard can I make someone work? The better question — the one that changed everything — was: what does this person actually need?

That shift changed how I coach. I started focusing on understanding the individual before designing the program. Developing movement quality before adding intensity. Teaching clients instead of simply directing them. Helping athletes understand why details matter. Building confidence through preparation. Creating habits that last.

The Philosophy

There Is Always a Why

I do not believe in exercises simply because they look difficult, are popular online, or make someone tired. Every movement should have a reason. Every progression should have a reason. Every correction should have a reason. Every program should have a purpose.

This is why education is part of the ADT experience. I want clients to eventually understand what we are doing and why we are doing it. That understanding is part of what makes the training stick.

I never want a client doing something simply because I told them to. I want them to eventually understand why we're doing it.

Assessment-Driven

Before I Train You, I Want to Understand You.

Meaningful training begins with observation and assessment. Before designing a program, I want to understand how you move, where you are strong, where you need attention, and what your goals actually require.

For athletes, this begins with the Total Athletic Proficiency Exam — a comprehensive assessment of movement quality, balance, stability, strength, mobility, coordination, and athletic proficiency. For adult fitness clients, an appropriate movement or fitness assessment helps me understand your training history, habits, goals, and mindset.

An assessment is not a medical diagnosis. It is the starting point for a program that is actually designed for you.

Training without an assessment is like icing your ankle because you have a toothache — Antonio Davis

The Standard

The Details Matter

A few inches of foot placement. Body position. Timing. Posture. Technique. Consistency. Preparation. Effort. These things can completely change the outcome of a movement.

This same philosophy carries into athlete development, adult fitness, and personal growth. The details that most people overlook are often the details that make the biggest difference.

Small details create big differences.

The Relationship

I Choose My Clients With Great Care

The relationship between coach and client matters. I am not interested in collecting as many clients as possible. I want to work with people who want to learn, respect the process, value consistency, accept coaching, and are willing to pay attention to details.

This does not mean someone needs to already be advanced. A beginner who is willing to learn can be an excellent fit. The distinction is attitude, commitment, and openness to coaching.

You do not have to be elite to train here. But you do have to be willing to grow.

Want to learn

Respect the process

Value consistency

Accept coaching

Pay attention to details

Want meaningful improvement

Understand that progress requires participation from both coach and client

Athlete Development

Building Athletes for More Than the Next Game

My athlete-development philosophy is centered on long-term development rather than quick fixes. Movement, strength, speed, coordination, confidence, mental toughness, preparation, nutrition education, recovery habits, attention to detail, and accountability — these are the building blocks.

I work with young athletes with the understanding that sport is only one part of their development. The goal is to help athletes become better prepared, more knowledgeable, and more confident people — not just better players.

Adult Fitness

Great Coaching Is Not Just for Athletes

Adults deserve the same level of thought and attention. A.U.R.A. by ADT brings the same principles of purposeful movement, strength, progression, and coaching into adult fitness.

Adults are not expected to train like competitive athletes. The same attention to movement. The same attention to detail. A program designed for you.

Return to Performance

When Getting Back Isn't Enough

Medical clearance is the beginning, not the end. Many athletes return from knee injuries physically cleared but not athletically ready — lacking the strength, movement quality, coordination, and confidence they had before.

My role is not medical rehabilitation. Medical diagnosis, treatment, and clearance belong to licensed medical professionals. My focus is on helping appropriate clients bridge the gap between medical clearance and confident athletic performance.

The Training Center

Built Around the Way I Believe Training Should Be Done

Antonio Davis Training Center is an extension of the philosophy. The environment communicates purpose, focus, professionalism, energy, attention to detail, individual development, and community.

This is not a commercial health club. It was created as a place where athletes and adults can learn, train, and develop — a space that reflects the same standards I bring to every coaching session.

The Standard

Where My Clients Learn. Train. Smile. Succeed. For Life.

Learn

Training should teach you something about your body, your habits, and your capabilities.

Train

Improvement requires purposeful repetition, preparation, and consistency.

Smile

The process should be challenging — but people should still enjoy being there.

Succeed

Success is individual. The goal is to help each client move closer to what success means for them.

For Life.

The ultimate goal is not simply a better workout, season, or performance. It is helping clients develop lessons, habits, and confidence that can continue long after a training program ends.

The Commitment

What You Can Expect From Me

You can expect me to pay attention.

You can expect me to ask questions.

You can expect me to tell you when something needs to improve.

You can expect me to explain why.

You can expect me to challenge you.

You can expect me to adjust when necessary.

You can expect me to care about the details.

And if I agree to coach you, you can expect me to take that responsibility seriously.

What I Expect From You

Show up

Be coachable

Communicate

Pay attention

Be consistent

Ask questions

Take responsibility

Respect the process

Give your best effort under the conditions of that day

I do not expect perfection. I expect participation.

Do the best you can under all conditions.

The Next Step

Let's Find Out If We're a Good Fit.

I don't believe every program is right for every person. The first step is understanding what you need, what you're trying to accomplish, and whether my approach is the right fit for you. If it is, we'll build from there.
